It wasn't long before the phrase escaped its initial linguistic confines, propelled into the mainstream by the relentless currents of the internet. Teenage slang, social media captions, and emotionally charged song lyrics all became fertile ground for "in your feels" to take root, solidifying its place as the go-to expression for anyone openly, and perhaps a little dramatically, embracing their deepest emotions.
